The Centurion Club remains a mystery to the Bureau.
The overgrown, lakeside lot contains a small building in a French Chateaux style (location not to be confused with Chateaux de Samuel). The door is locked, and blinds are tightly drawn over all windows. All attempts to force in by battering the door or breaking the windows has been futile. Loud bangs intermittent screams emanate from the building every other new moon, but the origin of these noises is unknown.
What's really going on?
The Centurion existed as a socialite club for the old blood dynasties of the state since the early 1800s. Internal club myth maintains that the Vermont independence agreement was hashed out at a meeting in the library years before the bill was brought to Congress. However, the basement of the club contains what makes the club truly unique—a mausoleum containing the preserved skulls of every former member.
The Centurion Clubhouse has an exact copy in base reality, located in Hubbard Park in Montpelier, Vermont. Ties between this building and the nearby Hubbard Tower altered location are currently unknown.
