Lorne-Masta Airfield is a joint military airfield and civilian regional airport located in central Vermont, north of the town of Djupbrunn.

In addition to hosting a QRF element, Lorne-Masta is the sole air force base in Vermont and home to its NORAD contributing element of 8 F-35 Lightning II multi-role fighter jets. Monumental Microsystems in Nýja Reykjavík provides the photonic computing elements of the avionics systems in exchange for the United States covering acquisition and maintenance costs of the Vermont fleet.

The structure of the airfield is unique, featuring blast-door sealed caverns in the face of a nearby cliff to store the fighters when not on the taxiway.
