Overview

The Vermont Defense Forces consist of ~11,000 personnel, with the mission of:

Internationally, VDF personnel are known for excellence in CBRN+, cold-weather, and mountain warfare roles.

Soldiers are routinely engaged in roles as members of NORAD’s Collective Air Policing, NATO, and a wide range of UN peacekeeping missions.
